A massive, multi-tiered milestone in my practice, this project was born out of Studio 2224, an independent alternative art space I founded in Taipei—naming it after the exact studio number from my residency at the Cité internationale des Arts in Paris. Operating deeply as a project within a project within a project, this collaborative video features a fellow artist serving as a model in a biting, satirical take on a "sugar baby" partnership. The work playfully disrupts the traditional art economy, challenging the public to directly fund the artist's meals, time, and creative labor through financial exchange. By marrying sharp critique with community action, this project stands as a powerful, layered testament to artistic solidarity and survival.
