The "Anatomy of Memory" series originated during the pandemic, using the body as a canvas to navigate personal history. By juxtaposing fragmented figures against the nostalgic motifs of 1970s and 80s Taiwan, I create a tension between the familiar and the uncanny. These unframed, collage-like works resemble layers of shed skin, exploring how we reconstruct the self within the textures of the past to find rest amidst contemporary isolation.
