This installation is part of an ongoing series of 100 fragments that investigate the complex weight of cultural and personal lineage.
By deconstructing and layering Western masterpieces, iconic Taiwanese paintings, and private family history, I explore how we assign value to the past. These works question the hierarchies of "high art" versus personal memory—blurring the lines between global history and intimate identity.
Each 10" x 10" fragment acts as a meditative archive, asking: What do we choose to preserve, and what is lost in the process of reinvention?
